What is a Uniter?
By stepping into the role of a Uniter, you are joining a worldwide community of believers committed to fulfilling the Great Commission right where God has planted them. Uniters serve as catalysts within their local churches, helping unite the Body of Christ around a shared mission to reach every person with the gospel.
He is worthy of a people who prioritize His heart’s desire: to see His Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. You are not alone in this calling. You are surrounded by a global family walking in obedience together.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.” — Romans 1:16

The need is great.
As 80% of churches across America are experiencing decline and less than 5% of churches have an active evangelism team, your commitment to becoming a Uniter within your city is more pivotal in this hour than ever before. There is no doubt that God is raising up a people who will bring into reality His heart for the world to know Him. As a people united, we will watch our cities find hope through our surrendered “yes” to the Father, as we know Him and make Him known.
What does a Uniter do?
Build up evangelism teams
Unite with the Community
Lead Outreach Efforts
Uniters help raise up others by:
-
Creating opportunities (approved by church leadership) to invite the broader congregation into outreach
-
Personally inviting potential team members to attend monthly Uniter meetings
-
Setting aside intentional time to walk through the Making Him Known devotional together with the members of your evangelism team
-
Meet the fourth Thursday of every month in person with other Uniters in your city for prayer, encouragement, and unity. During this meeting you will participate in a brief monthly Zoom gathering with Uniters worldwide, facilitated by Immerse leadership
-
Make reasonable efforts to participate in prayer events, and other evangelism efforts in your community
Help lead your church’s evangelism efforts to reach the entire community door-to-door using the Immerse My City App on a recurring basis.
-
When door-to-door efforts are not viable, other outreach efforts may be made in substitution
-
Though not required, we encourage all Uniters to run their church wide outreach on the second Saturday of each month and to join other Uniter teams on Community Outreach on the fourth Saturday of each month
Want to become a Uniter?
We encourage all believers who want to become a Uniter to first discuss the opportunity with their Church leadership and local Immerse Community Director if one is present. Becoming a Uniter is a honorable commitment to reaching the lost in your community alongside your current Church or fellowship.
